TODAY’S LIBERATION MOVEMENT

On Thursday, June 7th, at 12noon, we invite Norway/Bergen to take a one-hour time-out

This year, as last year, we invite Norway to a one-hour time-out on June 7th from 12noon to 1pm. A kind of national reflection break, where we free 60 minutes to find some answers to the following question: How can we carry out the changes we all want, but rarely manage to do something about?

Changes that primarily deal with re-gaining control of our time. How can we spend less time with stress, fuss, things, and technology – and more time with friends, fellowship, love, and gaining experiences? How can we worry a little less, and enthuse each other a little more? How can we more often see the ones we love? How can we do what we really want, and not just what we feel obligated to do.

You may find these thoughts silly. Maybe you are fine right now. Good, continue with that. To all the rest of you: See you Thursday. Check out the newspaper, or see www.07-06-05.com for additional information.

07-06-05 is an idea, a movement, and a countdown towards 07.06.2005. One hundred years after the liberation from Sweden, time is ripe for a new liberation. This time, not from a nation, but from a situation.

On Thursday, June 7th, at 12noon, we invite Norway/Stavanger to take a one-hour time-out

Anyone who has practiced sports know that a time-out means taking a small break to change tactics. Because things do not progress in the desired manner. Because you are about to lose. On Thursday, at 12noon, we invite Norway to a one-hour time-out. Not because the country is doing so badly, but because it is doing so well. It is doing so well that there is hardly time to breathe, as we haste between commitments and advancements, worries and oversights. In the race for just a little more money, just a slightly larger house, just a few more things.

There are many of us now who wish to change tactics. Because things do not progress as planned. Because both our planet and we are on the verge of losing. Because we realize that what we mostly and deeply want, is neither more money, nor a larger house, nor more things. What we want more than anything is more time. Time for more experiences, more love, more excitement, more content, and an improved health.

Turning off the computer, mobile phone, and TV more often may be a smart start. Appearing and taking a one-hour time-out on Thursday is a continuation. Check out the newspaper or see www.07-06-05.com for more information.

On Thursday, June 7th, at 12noon, we invite Norway/Trondheim to take a one-hour time-out

In most countries, the liberation movement addresses people’s needs. In Norway, maybe it can be about everything we already have?

Because we have plenty in this country. We have so many Television sets, mobile phones, computers, cars, boats, cabins, houses, and stereos, that we hardly have time for each other. Put it this way: things take time.

On Thursday, at 12noon, we therefore invite Norway to free one hour from all these things, and rather spend the time with the thoughts and dreams more and more of us carry. Thoughts that we may buy, use, and toss a little less – and still be better off. That it is time to reclaim time. That we too often find ourselves at work, in front of the TV, or talking on the mobile phone, when we really should have found ourselves by the sea, on the track, at the dinner table, or kissing. On Thursday, all of us who wish, can turn off the machines and meet to think aloud about these issues. And maybe you will find the inspiration, desire, and power to make the necessary changes in your life. Meetings, gatherings, and concerts will be arranged all over the country – check out the newspaper, or see www.07-06-05.com to find out what happens at a place near you.
